Independence, choice and control
Relatives told us that people had choices about their care and support.
Staff and leaders told us people were able to make choices about their care. For example, what to eat or what activity they wanted to do.
Care plans evidenced that people had equipment in place to maintain their independence. For example, some people needed a hoist to be transferred to their recliner chair. Care plans evidenced that there were 2 staff allocated where this was needed for safe transfers.
