Well-led
This means we looked for evidence that the service was well managed and well-led and that governance assured the provision of good person-centred care. Leaders and the culture they create help assure the delivery of high-quality care. At our last assessment we rated this key question good. Governance, management and sustainability
The service had clear responsibilities and robust systems of accountability and good governance in place. They used these, to deliver and record good quality, sustainable care and support and to ensure best practice was maintained. In addition to their audits and checks; the management team were very ‘hands on’ which enabled them to observe and drive improvements. One relative commented, “The managers are fantastic, and things have improved greatly since [name] has been there”, another shared, “Communication via email has been a recent occurrence; it really helps to have a single point of contact which I very much appreciate”.
